How to Move Your Account to a New Device
Your profile is not tied to a device — you move the keys. On the old device open Settings → Account and save your 24-word phrase, your HEX or a .profile file. On the new device install RaccoonLine and pick the matching option on the sign-in screen.
The phrase needs no old credentials — you set a new login and password yourself. HEX and the file, however, require the exact login and password they were saved with, so store those alongside the copy. HEX is also tied to your current pair: export it again after a password change, while the phrase stays valid.
On long-standing profiles only the file export may be available.
| Method | Needs your old login & password? | Survives a password change |
|---|---|---|
| 24-word phrase | no — you set a new pair | yes |
| HEX | yes | no — export it again |
| .profile file | yes | yes |
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Incorrect email or password | A profile exists on this device, but the credentials do not match it. Check the keyboard layout and trailing spaces. |
| Profiles not found | This device holds no profile yet — restore one with your phrase, HEX or .profile file. |
| Multiple profiles found | Several profiles share these credentials; pick the one you want. The choice is remembered for next time. |
| Incorrect phrase | One or more of the 24 words is wrong or out of order. They must be entered exactly as written down. |
